Paradelphia Radio: Jersey Bedeviled, Ep. 164
If you grew up in suburban America during the 1970’s or 1980’s odds are there was a wooded area in or near your town that felt just a little……off. A place where you wouldn’t go at night on a bet. Where strange noises were heard and tales of supernatural creatures seemed all too real. And in some towns those stories seemed to be more than just legends and lore because in some places there were actual alters, animal carcasses and evil symbols carved on trees and spray painted on old, half buried concrete pipes and viaducts deep in the forest. The folks at Weird NJ know this all too well and this week we use their “True Crime Files” edition to explore some “devilish” areas of the Garden State.
